Dear Parents and Carers,
As the term has ended and I reflect upon this term at Saint Christina’s, I am filled with gratitude. It is such a privilege to lead and serve this wonderful school. The children are the heartbeat of the school and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing them in and around school; be it in class, in the corridor, at Mass, at an assembly or on the playground.
As Head, I thoroughly enjoy having children sent down to my room to share with me some of their remarkable work. We have a second book now of ‘exemplary work’ on display outside the office and a showcase area displaying some of their wonderful art work. The children in their unique ways are delightful and so very talented. I have marvelled at how well they have performed in their nativity plays and the progression of confidence has been so striking from Nursery through to Year 2. The Carol Service was excellent, the children sang like a choir of angels and read their pieces so beautifully, giving glory to God and helping us all in our preparation for the coming of the Christ Child.
