The ideal school for me is Saint Christina’s. When I was three my mum dressed me in my smart uniform and tie and took me to school, my heart was thumping, I had a veil of tears on my face and I was turning as red as an apple. I passed Sister Mary who greeted me with a smile on her face. Her eyes shone in the bright shimmering sun. I realised what a fabulous school this was.
In the classroom the teachers were warm and welcoming. Everybody ran around me, playing games and having fun. As I got used to the classroom, I started to join in too. As the years went by, I learned to read and write, sums and times tables, learnt how to use computers and went on trips. One of the trips was to PGL in Year 5. The teachers at Saint Christina’s have been warm hearted and caring. I especially remember Mrs. McClintock, who was very fair and kind. I cannot remember when she ever shouted at me, I was never on the thumbs down list, only on the thumbs up list.
I have been at Saint Christina’s for eight years! So I know everybody in the school. I have made many friends that I hope I will see in the years to come. The best part of the school is the playground, I have spent endless hours on the monkey bars.
I am now in Year six, my life has changed as the Common Entrance Exams are heading towards me.
I am hoping I can get into a school just like Saint Christina’s so I can be just as happy as I am here.
