Reception Spring Hat Parade
The Reception children took part in a ‘Spring Hat Parade’ on Wednesday to raise funds for the St Francisco Javier School in Equatorial Guinea.
We had a wonderful day that started off with the parade in the morning and all of the children showed off their beautiful hats that they had made at home. In the afternoon we conducted a science experiment where we watched some white flowers change colour when they were exposed to blue and red food colouring! We then ended off our day with ‘guessing the seeds in a jar’, spring games and finally eating ice lollies outside in the sunshine.
We would like to say a very big thank you to the generous Reception parents who donated a total of £225.50! This has gone a long way to help us reach the total amount required to fix the classroom roof.
