Saint Christina’s held its first of many class cake sales for charity this academic year to benefit children in need.
The Year 3 girls hosted their class cake stall for the annual BBC ‘Children in Need’ appeal. Together, the pupils raised an incredible £402.75 in 45 minutes.
The theme of the class cake stall was ‘Show us your spots’ in conjunction with the theme of the BBC appeal. Children and their parents worked tirelessly to prepare, bake, decorate and then sell their delectable wares to a very hungry and generous Saint Christina’s school community!
The funds raised will offer some support to improving the lives of children at home, in their local communities and in improving their access to vital resources.
Congratulations again to the Year 3 girls for managing their cake stall so successfully with the support of their parents and teachers.
