Last week, Saint Christina’s children went on a whistle-stop tour of the world! To celebrate International Week, each class chose a country to learn all about and to inspire their work.
Countries were very varied and included England, Egypt, Kenya and Ireland. The classes produced fantastic posters made up of incredible facts, created brilliant animal masks of native animals and Nursery even learnt how to Morris dance!
On Thursday, children in the EYFS had a special Liturgy to celebrate all the many countries families in our Key Stage come from and on Friday we came together as a school to celebrate our learning in a brilliant sharing assembly. To finish the celebrations, the day ended with a beautiful Mass. What a lucky school we are to have so many nationalities and cultures represented!
