We have been so busy this week in Reception! We went to Primrose Hill on Wednesday to release our beautiful butterflies into the wild. We had so much fun watching them grow and learned lots about their metamorphosis. When we released them, some landed on us to say a great big thank you for looking after them!
On Thursday, we went back to Primrose Hill to have a look around for any litter people had left behind and to do our bit for the environment by taking part in the Great British Spring Clean. We learned a little bit about keeping our local environment clean and how we can help. As well as all this, we have been working really hard in the Science garden to learn more about our topic 'Under the Sea'. We classified different fish, talked about sea water and freshwater fish, looked at some sea creatures and discussed different habitats. We used our topic to help us count in two's too, counting the fish we could catch in our nets.
We have had such a wonderful week and can't wait to explore this new topic a little more.
