Friday 26th June

Headteacher for the day.

Hi my name is Ari and I’m Headteacher today!

What I first did was welcome everybody and I shook everybody’s hand and it made them smile.

The second thing I did was lead assembly and I handed out certificates including spots. (There were a lot!)

I then went to Mr Hirst’s office to talk about clubs and I recommended some clubs which were magnetic darts and basketball.

I then went and did playground duty for KS1 and KS2 and I was really happy that the children were enjoying their break.

I then went for a learning walk around the school with Mr Walshe where he showed me were everything is and I can now guide the children around the school!

Next, I did a Health & Safety tour with Ms Georgia. We were looking for any danger hazards. We saw some water on the stairs which someone could slip on so we cleaned it up. We made sure the children’s bags were tidy so no one would trip over.

Then I had lunch with my friend on a private VIP table. The next job was to help Mr Raveney with the Year 2 PE lesson. The children were well behaved and enjoyed the lesson.

I went to Year 1 to spray the children to cool them off! They were so excited that they were jumping up and down!

The next task was to visit the Reception children to talk to about what it is like to be a Headteacher for the Day.

At the end of day I enjoyed Mass and especially enjoyed shaking hands with all the children when they were leaving school.

My experience as Headteacher for the Day was 10 out of 10!!!
