On Monday, our Year 3 and 4 football teams enjoyed three very competitive, closely fought matches against Ivy House School. The teams drew one game and narrowly lost the final match. All of the players put in a fantastic performance, and it was wonderful to have so many parents there to support them. Nao was exceptional in goal, making several amazing saves, and Noah scored an excellent goal that secured a 1–0 victory in the opening match. In the second game, the team played some really impressive football, with great finishes from Herb and Adrian, who was awarded Star Player for his superb passing and movement throughout. In the final game, we took the lead through a well-taken goal from Giselle, but despite the team’s best efforts, we conceded two late goals. Well done to all involved for their determination and teamwork.
