Science with Year 6

Year 6 had their final SCS Science lesson this week and, as a good prep school should do, we ended on a lesson to prepare them for senior school Science by doing a dissection. We dissected a heart, lungs and liver and we pumped the oesophagus with a ball pump to see how they inflate when we breathe. Year 6 also learned that when something tugs their heart strings, it is actually a thing in their heart! Hopefully they leave the school with a heart full of happy memories and a solid foundation of learning.
