Year 1 and Year 4 Autumn Walk
This week we went on an exciting trip to Primrose Hill with our new Year 4 Buddies. It was so special to meet them and start building new friendships. We loved collecting colourful leaves and conkers along the way and sharing our discoveries with each other, showing great communication and collaboration.
One of the highlights of the day was spending time with our buddies. We enjoyed walking and talking with them, asking questions, and sharing what we noticed on our journey. It was lovely to begin new friendships, and we are looking forward to seeing our buddies again soon for more activities together.
On our walk, we used our curiosity to spot lots of signs of autumn, which linked to our Science learning. Back in class, we showed our critical thinking by tracing our route on a map as part of Geography and connecting it to our previous work on houses and homes - we noticed lots of flats nearby. In RE, we thought about how exploring nature helps us to enjoy God’s wonderful world and His Creation.
It was a fantastic day that brought so many areas of our learning to life!
