The children in Year 5 were really excited to complete the challenge set by Mr Gloag, to raise £60 (as a whole class) so that we can support Tearfund’s Toilet twinning Programme. On Wednesday after we set the course around Primrose Hill and set off on our run. The children could run or walk as much as they wanted and stop for a breather when they needed. I was so impressed by the determination of all of the children as they wanted to keep on going. Most children managed to complete a 5km run while some managed 10 km and manage nearing this mark. Overall, as a class, the children managed to run a whopping total distance of 116km (72 miles). I think you will agree with me that this is so impressive!
